Two days till take off!

Things that you think of two days before you leave for 18 months to a foreign country:

• I probably should have started to pack already.
• It's great sleeping in until noon.
• Maybe I'll take a shower today? NAH.
• Shoot I have about 6 loads of laundry to do, that's probably why I haven't packed yet.
• Good thing I just got my shots yesterday. Phew! Just in time.
• Helped mom set up this blog....that's an accomplishment!
• It's currently 19 degrees in Clifton Park, NY and 66 degrees in Oaxaca. I know I'll miss these days of living in a polar vortex. I hate to sweat and the cold never bothered me anyway!
• I should watch Frozen again before I leave.
• Maybe I should start looking for a second suitcase to pack my things in.
• I wonder how long it will take my sister to move into my room after I've left? Three days?
• The pages are falling out of my scriptures... should I have gotten new ones?
• Is it weird to pack socks that have the faces of One Direction printed on them? I don't care, they're coming with me.
• I wonder how many gallons of sunblock i'll use in Mexico over the course of 18 months.
• I wonder if my visa will come through in time. Pray for me.
• I AM SO AFRAID OF SCORPIONS. WHAT IF THEY CRAWL INTO MY BED WITH ME?
• I would like to issue a formal apology in advance to all of my companions: I am sorry but you'll be killing, trapping, and disposing of anything and everything that finds its way into our place. And I would also like to apologize in advance for my screaming when I see these little critters.
• I am so excited for this new experience and I can't wait to get to Mexico and start working!
